They met each other during their university study in Vancouver, Canada. They started writing songs in their student’s accommodation. In 2009 they won the Battle Of The[...] Roman Foot Soldiers is a six piece indie rock band from Jakarta, Indonesia. They met each other during their university study in Vancouver, Canada. They started writing songs in their student’s accommodation. In 2009 they won the Battle Of The Bands award of British Columbia. Once back in Indonesia they released their first EP Kitsilano. In Jakarta they work hard on their debut album, to be released later this year. Sven has temporary left Australia and is for a week in Jakarta. Streets Without Signs is this week the Indonesian KX Expat Plug In. Sven and his KX colleague Simone Walraven create their radio shows many miles away from the KX Radio studio in Amsterdam: Simone from the US, Sven from Australia. In order to support talented new artists from those countries, who do not yet enjoy regular airplay in Holland, they choose the weekly KX Expat Plug In.
