<itunes:summary>Mathis Haug is a blues musician from the Black Forest area in southern Germany. His grandmother raised him with German folktale songs and learned him to play the guitar, what she has learned from American soldiers who were based in Germany at the end of World War II. Mathis has just released his debut album on the French Dixiefrog label. Playing My Dues is the name of the album; The Caretaker’s Parade is this week’s KX Expat Plugin.

Sven and his KX colleague Simone Walraven create their radio shows many miles away from the KX Radio studio in Amsterdam: Simone from the US, Sven from Australia. In order to support talented new artists from those countries, who do not yet enjoy regular airplay in Holland, they choose the weekly KX Expat Plug In. This song receives special attention in their shows and is distributed among the KX DJ team.</itunes:summary>
