Clairy Browne and The Bangin’ Rackettes are a nine piece rhythm and blues big band from Melbourne. Their music is influenced by artists like Big Mama Thornton and Etta James. The group is well known in Australia as they perform regularly on festivals and outdoor concerts. The debut album of Clairy Brown is called Baby Caught The Bus and was recently released. Sven and his KX colleague Simone Walraven create their radio shows many miles away from the KX Radio studio in Amsterdam: Simone from the US, Sven from Australia.
