The zoo in Dubbo is the largest open air zoo in Australia. You can wonder around by foot, bike or car. It has more than 1,500 animals including some amazing white and black rhinoceros, and a sumatran tiger. It’s a subsidiary of the famous Taronga Zoo in Sydney. There are no fences, and it feels like you can almost touch the animals. We hired a golf car, bought some take away coffee and enjoyed the park. Beautiful weather, sun and 35C !
