Split Seconds – All You Gotta Do (AUS)
Sean Pollard is a singer from Perth, Western Australia, who for years was widely known for his band New Rules For Boats. Last year he decided to go solo, but pretty soon he collected five new musicians to join him, and the new band Split Seconds was there. The band makes enjoyable indie pop music, and is a beloved attraction on Australian live pop festivals. The self titled debut EP has meanwhile been released and All You Gotta Do is this week’s KX Expat Plugin.
Sven and his KX colleague Simone Walraven create their radio shows many miles away from the KX Radio studio in Amsterdam: Simone from the US, Sven from Australia. In order to support talented new artists from those countries, who do not yet enjoy regular airplay in Holland, they choose the weekly KX Expat Plug In. This song receives special attention in their shows and is distributed among the KX DJ team.
